This is a small unassuming building with excellent service and amazing food. The server was sanitizing tables as we walked it and we were seated immediately. Our group had the traditional breakfasts along with The Coullion, The Curious George, A Hangover, and extra grits. All of the food came out freshly cooked and steaming hot. It's all served on disposable plates and bowls along with plastic ware. I'm ok with this. Restaurants have been hit hard with Covid measures and this saves them some time. The Curious George and Coullion are both hand made biscuits with pecan praline syrup poured on top. The CG had bananas inside and on top. The Coullion has a crunchy battered chicken breast in it and an extra little piece on top. So delicious!! The egg breakfasts were served with bacon, GREAT home fries, and smoked sausage. The Hangover was a PILE of food! Home fries with two eggs cooked your way, gravy, cheese, and crumbled bacon. It's a pile of food, deliciously prepared! Our server sent us on our way with a "Hope to see y'all again soon!" and I wish I could!! We are visiting from out of town and I'll be dreaming about that breakfast!!! It may warrant a trip to Lafayette all on its own!
Great little local place in Lafayette LA. Small & friendly staff; GREAT food of local flavor. We'll be back!
Unique place and looks to be independent meaning not a chain. They had great service and a good customer following. Food was good but this is not the purpose of my review today. We need more home town places to eat. Chains seem to loose the initial purpose of who the customer is. Yelp is a good way to highlight these places of interest. Please take time to review your experiences. It certainly has helped me over the years for business and pleasure. God Bless
Dropped in for a late breakfast. Nope, breakfast ends at 1030. We did opt for the all day burritos, a Alejandro and a border patrol. The Alejandro With chorizo was clearly the winner. Really small seating area (maybe for 20-30 tops). Food was a little slow but I think they had a few to go orders ahead of us.
Awesome place to grab some amazing food. I have only been for breakfast and made it through all the breakfast items and never found a bad one. Love this place.
